Journey events are certain steps that a contact goes through as they pass through a journey workflow.

Events are broken up into the following categories:
- Triggers - Add contacts, user, and loans to a journey.
- Actions - Makes the system perform a specific operation relating to the contact or loan.
- Conditions - Logic built into the workflow that pushes a loan or contact down a certain path depending on the rule that is in place.
- Events - Delays that can be built between triggers, actions, conditions, or other events. The journey continues to the next step after the rule has been met.
