How to Add Journey Status Actions

During the journey creation process, use the Change Journey Status action when a contact passes through a transition point. These statuses are used to determine the successful conversion and failure ratio of the journey. 

  • Assign these statuses to contacts as the last step before being removed from the journey. 

Ex: Assign a contact a journey status of "New" once added, then depending on their path through the journey, give them a status of "Complete" or "Failed." 

In this example, the successful conversation ratio would be the Complete status, while the failure ratio would be the Failed status. 

Add Journey Status Actions

  1. On the left navigation, click Journeys.
  2. On the right side of the page, click Create Journey. 
  3. A pop-up box appears. 
  4. Input your journey name and description.
  5. Under the Events tab, scroll down to Actions.
  6. Click on the down arrow then choose Show All
  7. Find the Change Journey Status event. 
  8. Click, drag, and drop the Change Journey Status action to the canvas. 
  9. Update the Event Settings and click Save
