During the journey creation process, use the Change Journey Status action when a contact passes through a transition point. These statuses are used to determine the successful conversion and failure ratio of the journey.
- Assign these statuses to contacts as the last step before being removed from the journey.
Ex: Assign a contact a journey status of "New" once added, then depending on their path through the journey, give them a status of "Complete" or "Failed."
In this example, the successful conversation ratio would be the Complete status, while the failure ratio would be the Failed status.
Add Journey Status Actions
- On the left navigation, click Journeys.
- On the right side of the page, click Create Journey.
- A pop-up box appears.
- Input your journey name and description.
- Under the Events tab, scroll down to Actions.
- Click on the down arrow then choose Show All.
- Find the Change Journey Status event.
- Click, drag, and drop the Change Journey Status action to the canvas.
- Update the Event Settings and click Save.
