How to Update Email Access Settings on Email Templates

User settings override team settings. Team settings override settings within the edit menu of an email template. Rule of thumb is that more specific access options override general access options. 


  1. On the left navigation, click Email Marketing > Emails
  2. Search for the template.
  3. Next to the email template, click Actions > Edit
  4. On the left side of the template, scroll down to Email Access Settings
  5. Choose your option(s). 
    • Grant Access To All Users - Every user in your organization will have access to the template.
    • Grant Access to User Co-Marketing Partners - Co-marketers of users that have access to this piece will also have access. 
    • Grant Editing Capabilities to All Users - All users have access to edit. 
  6. Click Save Email.
